Today, over 100,000 Likud members are expected to participate in the party’s primary. Voters will choose who will be the chairman of the Likud as well as its Knesset list. The leadership race pits Bibi Netanyahu against Danny Danon, a race Netanyahu is expected to win comfortably.
The vote for the Knesset list has slightly more drama attached to it as 16 Likud members are seeking to return to the Knesset while there are only 15 slots available for veteran MKs, meaning at least one Likud MK will not return to the Knesset after the elections. Voters must vote for eleven members on the national list (voting for ten or twelve invalidates the ballot) as well as a regional representative for the list.Source (Hebrew): http://www.nrg.co.il/online/1/ART2/666/483.html
