40% of potential Yisrael Beyteinu voters reconsidering after scandal

A recent poll by Galei Tzahal shows that 40% of voters who planned on voting for Yisrael Beyteinu this March are reconsidering. While Yisrael Beyteinu party leaders decried the arrests as a politically motivated witch hunt, this poll indicates that strategy might not be working.

Yesterday the police arrested over 30 public officials in one of the largest corruption scandals in Israel’s history. This includes Yisrael Beyteinu leaders such as former Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, Deputy Minister of the Interior Faina Kirshenbaum and the party’s chief of staff, David Gorowsky.
