Moshe Feiglin drops out of Likud leadership race

MK Moshe Feiglin, Netanyahu’s chief rival in the Likud, announced that he is dropping out of the race for Likud chairperson. His announcement comes on the heels of Likud’s internal high court reversing the lower court’s decision and reinstating the primary date of December 31st.

Feiglin said, “I have no desire to take this appeal to another court and weaken the Likud right before the general elections. Since December 31st is too short a time frame for me to launch an effective campaign, I have chosen to withdraw my candidacy”.

MK Dani Danon said he would stay in the race with Netanyahu despite the court’s decision.
