Avishai Braverman won’t run again for Labor

Avishai Braverman announced today that he doesn’t intend to seek a spot on Labor’s list this election but will remain a member of the Labor party. Party leader Isaac (Buji) Herzog thanked Braverman for his contribution to the labor party.

Braverman spent 14 years working for the world bank and is the former president of Ben Gurion University in the Negev. He joined Labor in 2006 and served from 2009-2011 as the Minister of Minority Affairs in Netanyahu’s 2nd government.
